Are you noticing more people in your classes experiencing stress, anxiety, or overwhelm – and feeling the weight of holding space for them?
Nervous system dysregulation can manifest in various ways, including a lack of commitment, agency, or consistency. This may impact a person’s Yoga practice, making it challenging for them to even step onto the mat.
Many Yoga teacher trainings offer limited education on the nervous system or on practical tools for regulation. This 20-hour course aims to bridge that gap by providing a foundational understanding of the nervous system, along with effective practices to promote regulation and resilience.
When someone chooses to attend a Yoga class, it’s a powerful opportunity to offer them tools, encouragement, and new perspectives that can support meaningful change in their lives.
EXPLORATION & REFLECTION
HOW IT UNFOLDS
This 20h course (16 contact hours + 4 hours of self-study) is made up of practice, discussion, exploration, theory, tools, online learning and reflection. As much as it is intended to be a learning opportunity to up-level your skills as a Yoga teacher and community facilitator, it also offers a chance to connect with your peers, to have important conversations, to receive support, to nourish your own nervous system, and to reflect on your personal growth.
How can we promote compassion and restore a sense of wholeness through our practice? What are the tools to help us navigate life’s challenges with more ease? Regaining more of a sense of Self will affect the way you show up in community.
Some pre-course essential reading and viewing will be made available on a well-structured online platform.

Additional resources will be available for further study and integration. You will also be asked to write a 300-400 word reflection on what you have learnt and how you will implement the tools in your teaching.

No justification for your choice is required.

Booking terms
In order to guarantee your place on this training, you need to make a minimum payment of at least one instalment. If you choose to pay in instalments, the first one is due on registration, and the remaining instalments will be charged in monthly intervals from the date of your booking.
All payments are non-refundable and non transferrable. Please make sure you are absolutely certain you want to make this commitment.
Only in the case that I have to cancel the course for some reason, you will of course receive your money back or you will be offered a place on an alternative training.

Any concerns?
I understand that you might have some concerns before joining the training. Here are answers to the most common questions I get asked. If you have other doubts, please use the contact form to get in touch.
There will be recordings available of all the sessions, and you can watch them on replay. Ideally, you join at least 80% of the webinars live in person, so if you have to miss a small chunk, it’s not a problem. And, I also know that it suits some people much better to learn in their own time, and so this is not a hard and fast rule. If doing the majority of the classes on replay means it's more accessible for you, then that's good for me, too.
I hear you. I tried to schedule the classes with big enough breaks, so we really have time to eat, move, and get away from the screen. And each session will also have a short comfort break half-way through.
I will ask you turn your camera ON for the calls to promote trust in this shared space. If you are not able to join the calls from a quiet space, it will be better to watch the recording later. Some of the calls will be a practice, where you will need to have enough space to roll out your Yoga mat.
All of the classes have been created from well tested workshops and seminars, and have gone through several rounds of improvements. I teach online a lot, and have planned lots of additional time into the sessions, so the nature of working on Zoom can be accommodated. And the course will be limited to 12 people, which means we can all comfortably see each other and connect and communicate.
That was this course is for. Please start to apply what you have learnt straight away. This is the best way to really understand it and to embody the principles.
