This advanced module is for practitioners with a foundation in Thai Massage (or a similar modality) who want to deepen their understanding of how to support clients experiencing back pain. It’s especially relevant if you work with chronic conditions, stress-related tension, or nervous system dysregulation.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll explore how to assess, adapt, and respond to the unique patterns each client brings. You’ll learn a range of techniques and principles that can be tailored to both acute and long-term presentations.
Yes – a central part of this training is understanding pain through a biopsychosocial and nervous system lens. We’ll look at ways to work safely and supportively with clients whose pain is persistent, multifaceted, or trauma-related.
Yes, this is a highly practical course with plenty of time for hands-on learning, guided practice, and integration. You’ll both give and receive treatments, with space for reflection and questions throughout.
There is no final assessment or exam at the end of this course. However, you will need to complete one documented case study for review.
