Come back into your body

Yoga & Somatics for back pain

In this class you will learn techniques, movements and sequences that help to alleviate the tension and pain patterns that have been building up over time, to re-establish communication and vitality in the whole body, to create a sense of spaciousness and lightness, and to maintain better structural support.

Regain mobility and stability and potentially recover from an injury with more ease. A slow therapeutic practice will allow you to undo the painful holding and redevelop your innate strength.

A pause for body and mind

Restorative Yoga & Somatics to de-compress

This class offers an opportunity to calm and regulate the nervous system. An antidote to the modern lifestyle stresses. The practice begins with some gentle movement to help you come back into a felt sense of the body, and ends with some Restorative Yoga poses for a profound relaxation. The motto of this class is un-doing.

SCARAVELLI INSPIRED YOGA

Sunday Yoga Immersions

These immersions offer a playful yet in-depth exploration of movement and posture, creating space in the body, deepening strength, and refining alignment. We focus on regulating the nervous system and returning to our physical, emotional, and mental axis.

The Scaravelli inspired approach invites us to work with gravity, free the breath, and release habitual tension, allowing for effortless, easeful movement. Through curiosity and connection, we rediscover the body’s innate capacity for balance, resilience, and freedom.

EMBODIMENT BEFORE FORM

Move from within

Find ease, strength, and presence in every gesture. This short embodied Yoga flow explores movement as a felt experience rather than a shape to achieve – prioritising sensation, breath, and connection over form.

Things people often ask

Common Questions Answered

I understand that you might have some concerns before booking a class. Here are answers to the most common questions I get asked. If you have other doubts, please use the contact form to get in touch.

Yes! The sessions are accessible to all levels, with an emphasis on exploration rather than achievement. Variations and options are always offered to support your individual experience.

Weekly classes provide regular practice to build awareness and ease over time, while Sunday Immersions offer a deeper dive into specific themes, allowing for a more spacious and in-depth exploration.

Not at all. These sessions focus on moving in a way that feels good for your body, rather than striving for a particular shape or level of flexibility.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you come to the studio, all Yoga equipment is provided. If you are joining online from home, you will need a Yoga mat, a couple of cushions and a blanket. For the Restorative Yoga class you will need a whole bunch of cushions or a bolster and a couple of blankets.

This approach prioritises natural movement, breath, and working with gravity rather than forcing the body into postures. It encourages deep listening, easeful strength, and a sense of freedom in movement.

Not for the weekly classes, however a recording of the Sunday Immersions will always be made available shortly after the session.
