My Values

Responsibility

I aim to support individuals in reconnecting with their inner resources, nurturing self-trust, and empowering them to take meaningful steps toward their well-being. Healing is a personal, often gradual process, and I am here to walk alongside each person, respecting their pace as they navigate their journey to health.

Rootedness

I aim to help individuals cultivate a deep sense of inner stability and resilience, especially during times of change. Understanding that healing is unique to each person, I offer gentle, trauma-informed practices that encourage a sense of grounding, allowing clients to feel more centred and steady in their process.

Integrity

I am committed to building relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and care. By showing up consistently and communicating openly, I create spaces where mutual respect and shared learning can flourish. Integrity, for me, means being present, holding space, and offering unwavering support in a way that honours each individual’s needs.

Safe Support

I hope to create environments where individuals feel welcomed, respected, and supported in their healing journey. Whether in individual sessions, group settings, or training programmes, my aim is to meet each person where they are, offering compassionate and respectful support that honours their unique process.

Authenticity

I always try to bring my whole self to this work, embracing openness and honesty. While I may not have all the answers, I believe that showing up authentically fosters deeper connection and trust. My aim is to create space for clients to explore their own truths in a compassionate, respectful way that honours their individual experiences.

Holistic Approach

I take a whole-person approach to well-being, recognising the deep interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Understanding that healing is not always linear and that every journey is unique, I aim to offer practices that gently invite balance, always adapting to the needs and experiences of each individual.

Continuous Learning

I approach my work with curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning. I remain open to new insights about the body, trauma, and healing processes, with the aim of sharing what I learn to create spaces where we can all grow together, nurturing a community of shared knowledge and understanding.

Innate Wisdom

I trust in the body’s natural ability to heal and find balance, acknowledging that this process is unique for each person. My role is to support clients in tuning into their own bodies, listening to their inner wisdom, and discovering what feels right for them. Through this gentle reconnection with innate wisdom, I aim to help individuals move towards greater ease and well-being.

Inclusivity statement

I believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I am committed to creating spaces free from barriers or discrimination based on age, class, physical or mental ability, gender identity, gender expression, gender assigned at birth, sexual orientation, contraceptive choices, pregnancy, race, ethnicity, religion, or beliefs.

Financial Accessibility

I strongly believe that yoga, therapy, education and community spaces should be accessible to everyone. I continuously seek ways to make my offerings financially accessible.

I currently offer:

  • flexible pricing options for all my trainings
  • payment plans for all my trainings
  • significant early bird discounts where possible
  • scholarships if the number of registrations allows me to
  • package deals where possible

Feedback

I recognise that there is always more to learn. While I strive to be as inclusive as possible, I am aware that I may have blind spots. I welcome your feedback, experiences, and suggestions. Your voice matters, and I am committed to learning, growing, and making meaningful changes.

My Commitments

I commit to:

  • Listening, learning, and growing
  • Challenging unconscious biases in myself and within our community
  • Educating myself and others about the origins of yoga, with a commitment to cultural appreciation, not appropriation
  • Admitting mistakes, apologising, and recommitting to do better
  • Reviewing financial investments to ensure collaboration with diverse businesses and individuals
  • Dismantling barriers to my work wherever possible
  • Cultivating a rehabilitative culture that holds individuals accountable while allowing for growth

What I Will Not Do

I will not:

  • Tell you that you are safe – Safety is personal, and only you can define your boundaries.
  • Tell you what you are feeling – Your feelings are valid and unique to your experience.
  • Simplify complex themes like “letting go” – Letting go is a process, not a quick fix.
  • Promote manifestation as a quick solution – I acknowledge the harm that some manifestation ideologies perpetuate.
  • Encourage you to push through – Your autonomy is respected. You are in charge of your experience.
  • Speak for your experience – I can only share from my perspective.
  • Promote “love and light” ideology – I believe in facing challenges and embracing all emotions, not bypassing discomfort.

Anti-Racism Commitment

I commit to ongoing education and action to address racism. This includes:

  • Learning Black history to understand context and deepen my awareness
  • Engaging in conversations about race and racism with confidence and care
  • Feeling discomfort and allowing it to teach me
  • Elevating the voices of people of colour in my spaces and platforms
  • Holding myself and studios accountable for anti-racism and inclusivity practices
  • I will continue to ask questions, seek resources, and hold space for change. This is a lifelong commitment to showing up, standing in solidarity, and creating spaces that honour diversity and inclusion.
